Bringing Family & Community to Life: Branding Photos for SkyOne Federal Credit Union
When the team at SkyOne Federal Credit Union reached out to me about partnering on their rebrand, I knew it was going to be something special. They wanted to highlight their commitment to families—and not just in words, but in visuals. As a family photographer and branding photographer, nothing excites me more than telling real stories through photos.
SkyOne’s vision was clear: they wanted authentic, heartfelt branding photos featuring actual members and their families in the DFW area. We scheduled five sessions over one very full and very fun week, choosing locations that would give us variety, personality, and a true representation of their diverse clientele.
We shot across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex—from the western charm of the Stockyards to the artsy, small-town vibes of Downtown Denton. We embraced nature out at Murrell Park and added a little studio flair with a session at Black and Light Studio. Each family brought their own energy, and together, we created images that feel warm, honest, and community-focused—exactly what SkyOne stands for.
These sessions were more than just capturing smiles. We had real moments: we dodged a few summer thunderstorms, chased golden hour light, and wrapped one session with ice cream at Beth Marie’s (because what’s a family photography session without a sweet treat?). It was the perfect reminder that the best branding photography is rooted in joy, connection, and a little spontaneity.
This project was such a highlight, and I can’t wait to head to LA soon to work with more of SkyOne’s members on the West Coast.
If your brand is ready to visually connect with your audience in a genuine, family-forward way, I’d love to help. Whether you’re looking for family photos with purpose or branding photos that feel like you—let’s make it happen.
