Sunshine, Superheroes, and Celebration: The NaShee-White Family Photo Shoot at Murrell Park

There’s something so special about documenting families just being themselves—laughing, playing, and soaking in the sunshine. That’s exactly what the NaShee-White family set out to do during their recent family photo shoot at beautiful Murrell Park, and it was nothing short of magic.

As a Flower Mound Photographer, I always love when clients want to incorporate personal elements into their sessions. The NaShee-White family planned a laid-back picnic by the lake, and it was the perfect setting to capture candid, joy-filled moments. From throwing a football on the grass to picking wildflowers and snacking on grapes, every part of the day was effortlessly fun and full of love.

One of my favorite moments was when we paused to celebrate Jay and Roger’s marriage. As the kids skipped rocks and struck superhero poses on the boulders nearby, the happy couple popped champagne under the golden light. It was a sweet, spontaneous moment that perfectly reflected the spirit of their family—warm, joyful, and unapologetically them.

Sessions like this are why I love being a Family Photographer in the DFW area. Murrell Park provided a scenic, sun-soaked backdrop for a session that felt less like a photo shoot and more like a memory in the making.
