A Legacy of Love | Rodriguez Family Studio Session in Denton
There’s something really special about being able to freeze time for a family—and the Rodriguez family photo session at The Lumen Room in Denton was a perfect example of just how meaningful that can be.
Yvette and her gorgeous family met me for a studio photo shoot that had layers of joy, laughter, and deep love. She had won this session through a silent auction item I donated for a golf tournament benefitting Women of Flower Mound, and I was so honored to be a small part of this generous community effort.
This wasn’t just any family picture day. We had all five of Yvette’s kids in the studio, along with her two grandchildren, her sister, and her brother in law. What made the session even more powerful was the presence of their mother—symbolically and literally. Yvette and her sister brought their mother’s urn with them so they could include her in a few photos, a quiet but moving tribute that brought the family’s deep bond into even sharper focus.
With the weather outside turning humid and rainy, this was the perfect day for an indoor session. The clean, modern feel of The Lumen Room gave us the perfect neutral backdrop to let their vibrant personalities shine.
As a Denton Family Photographer, I’m always grateful to capture moments that feel both beautiful and deeply personal. Whether you're rounding up multiple generations or just trying to get everyone in one place for a quick hour, a studio session is a great option—especially for unpredictable weather!
If you're looking for a family photographer who will help you tell your family’s unique story, I’d love to connect. Because sometimes, the most meaningful photos are the ones that include everyone—even the ones we hold in our hearts.
