Fall Mini Sessions 2024 – A Weekend of Gorgeous Weather, Giving Back & Timeless Memories
Each fall, I host three sets of mini sessions, and this year’s Fall Mini Sessions were nothing short of magical. As a Flower Mound family photographer, fall is always one of my busiest and most heartwarming seasons, and it’s easy to see why.
The weather this October gave us the perfect backdrop—crisp air, golden light, and vibrant trees. We had 19 amazing families join us over the weekend, and every single session was filled with love, laughter, and those perfectly snuggly fall vibes.
I always choose this time of year for a reason. Not only is the weather cooler and more comfortable for outdoor photos, but the neutral backdrop at our Stone Creek Park works beautifully for photos that can be used year-round. Many families use these images for holiday cards, family gifts, or simply to update their walls at home—and I love helping create those cherished memories.
A Special Partnership with CASA of Denton County
This year, these mini sessions were about more than just pretty pictures. I had the joy of partnering with CASA – Court Appointed Special Advocates of Denton County. CASA trains volunteers to advocate for children who have experienced abuse or neglect and are navigating the court system. Their mission is to ensure that every child has a safe, permanent home and the support they need to thrive. It meant so much to be able to give back to such a powerful and local cause.
A Touch of Halloween Fun 🎃
For those who wanted to add a little festive flair, I set up a fun Jack-o’-lantern backdrop—a hit with both kids and parents! It was the perfect mix of spooky and sweet and gave families a few bonus shots with a Halloween twist.
If you missed out this year, don't worry—these minis always sell out quickly, but I’d love to have you on the list for the next round!
Thank you to each family who joined me this season. You brought warmth, joy, and purpose to these sessions. I can’t wait to share more images with you soon.
