Casting Into the Sunset | Sloan's Senior Session at Murrell Park

As a Flower Mound photographer, one of my favorite things about senior sessions is getting to know what makes each senior unique—and capturing that in a way that feels completely authentic. That’s exactly what we did with Sloan, a 2025 senior who loves fishing and the peaceful moments that come with it.

We chose Murrell Park for his senior photo shoot, not only because it offers stunning views of Lake Grapevine, but because it's one of Swartz’s favorite fishing spots. It was the perfect backdrop to celebrate both his milestone and his personality. He even brought along his fishing pole and cast a few lines between shots, which made for some of my favorite moments of the evening.

We timed his Pepi session perfectly to catch the sunset—a golden hour glow that felt just right for a laid-back session like this. As the sun dipped below the horizon, we captured a mix of portraits that felt genuine, relaxed, and entirely Swartz.

As a senior photographer, I believe every session should be as unique as the person in front of the lens. Whether it’s fishing at the lake, playing an instrument, or showcasing a favorite hobby or sport, I design each session to reflect who you are right now—because that’s what this milestone is really all about.

If you’re looking for a DFW photographer who gets how important it is to tell your story, I’d love to chat. Let’s plan a senior session that feels like you.
