In-Home Newborn Session | Swiecki Family Lifestyle Photography

Some sessions feel less like work and more like stepping into a story you’ve been lucky enough to watch unfold over the years—and that’s exactly what it felt like photographing the Swiecki family again.

I’ve had the joy of capturing this family for a long time now, and getting to document this new chapter—welcoming their second baby—was incredibly special. There’s something about returning to familiar faces, familiar laughter, and a rhythm you already know by heart.

This session took place in their nursery, which made it feel even more intimate and meaningful. It’s a space filled with quiet anticipation, soft light, and now… tiny new beginnings. And right in the center of it all was their newest little one—complete with the most adorable head of red hair that somehow manages to steal the spotlight and melt your heart at the same time.

But the real magic? Big brother.

He absolutely adores his new baby brother, and it shows in every glance, every gentle touch, every proud little smile. There’s a sweetness there that you just can’t pose—it’s the kind of connection that only comes naturally, and it was such a joy to capture.

And of course, being a musician family, there’s an unspoken rhythm to the way they move together. Even in the quiet moments, there’s a sense of harmony—like everything just flows. It made the entire session feel calm, easy, and beautifully in sync.
