Bluebonnet Mini Photo Shoot | A Texas Tradition with a Purpose
Each spring, Texans eagerly await the arrival of our iconic state flower, and this year, my Bluebonnet Mini Photo Shoots were the only spring minis I offered. While the season didn’t bring an abundance of blooms—thanks to the lack of rain—I was still able to find a beautiful pocket of color at McInnish Park, one of my favorite spots for family photos in the spring.
Despite some gusty winds that weekend, the sessions were full of warmth, joy, and the unmistakable charm of Texas wildflowers. We made it work, and every family absolutely shined. From little ones dancing through the grass to parents snuggling their kiddos among the bluebonnets, these family pictures captured the kind of timeless moments I know my clients will treasure for years.
What made this year's Bluebonnet Mini Photo Shoot series even more special was our partnership with Keep Lewisville Beautiful. A portion of proceeds from each session was donated to support their efforts in preserving and beautifying our local community—something that felt especially fitting as we celebrated nature through photography.
Thank you to every family who joined me and embraced this Texas tradition with heart and laughter. These family photo shoots are always a highlight of my year, and I’m so grateful we could continue the tradition—even with fewer blooms.
