A Cozy In-Home Photo Shoot and Sunset Park Session with the Baker Family

There’s something extra magical about capturing a family’s first holiday season with their little one—and the Baker Family’s session was the perfect way to celebrate just that. As a DFW Photographer, getting to document these milestones is such a joy, especially when it involves chubby cheeks, big smiles, and cozy, heartfelt moments.

For this family photo shoot, we started at the Bakers’ home in Prosper, Texas. Their living room was transformed into a festive wonderland with their holiday setup, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect backdrop for their in-home session. Little Miss Baker—around six months old and full of joy—stole the show with her gummy grins and adorable rolls. As a Prosper Photographer, I always love when families opt for an in home photo shoot. It adds such a personal, comfortable touch that really tells their unique story.

After wrapping up indoors, we headed to a nearby park just in time for golden hour. The warm light, crisp air, and sweet snuggles between mom, dad, and baby made for some of my favorite outdoor images of the season. It was the kind of session that reminded me why I love being a family photographer—to freeze these fleeting, beautiful moments in time.
