The Singh Family | A Vibrant In-Home Family Photo Shoot in Copper Canyon

This fall, I had the joy of photographing the Singh Family in the comfort of their brand new home in Copper Canyon. As a Highland Village photographer who loves celebrating culture and connection, this in-home session was a dream.

We spent two hours capturing memories that reflect who the Singhs are—playful, elegant, and deeply rooted in tradition. I brought along my mobile studio setup, which includes ten different backdrops and full studio lighting, perfect for creating timeless portraits right in their living space. We began with portraits in traditional saris and dhotis, honoring their heritage in a beautiful and meaningful way.

Afterward, they changed into chic designer outfits, and we moved through different areas of their home for more candid and lifestyle-inspired shots. The shoot continued into their backyard where we set up a cozy little picnic, and we ended with one of my favorite moments: their daughter riding her bike around the lake that borders their neighborhood. These everyday scenes, when captured with intention, tell such a powerful story.
