Erik & Billy’s Celebration of Love | LGBTQ Wedding at DFW Marriott Hotel & Golf Club

Some weddings feel more like a reunion of hearts than a formal affair—and Erik and Billy’s wedding was exactly that. On a crisp November day at the Dallas/Fort Worth Marriott Hotel & Golf Club at Champions Circle, these two sealed their 10-year relationship surrounded by the people who have loved and supported them through it all.

As a DFW photographer, I’ve seen a lot of wedding days, but this one had a magic that comes only when love is steady, deep-rooted, and ready to be honored. The champagne was flowing, laughter echoed down the halls, and the air was filled with quiet anticipation. Erik may have almost passed out during the ceremony (we blame the excitement and not the tux!), but their sweet vows and the emotional support of their family and friends kept everything grounded and beautiful.

Erik and Billy wanted to keep things relaxed and real. Instead of endless posed wedding portraits, we focused on what mattered most: documenting the day as it unfolded. From joyful embraces to spontaneous dance moves and heartfelt moments during dinner, every frame tells the story of a celebration built on a decade of love.

The evening wrapped up with delicious food, great music, and a laid-back cigar bar under the stars—a perfect way to end a perfect day.

This wedding was a reminder of why I love being an LGBTQ friendly photographer—because love is love, and it’s always worth capturing.
